BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY, (BDS)Dr. Ranjan has cultivated a profound passion for dentistry since his early childhood, being raised in a family with a rich legacy of dental professionals. Inspired by his family’s dedication to serving society with the highest standard of healthcare, he pursued his dream of becoming a dentist.
With over a decade of diverse experience in general dentistry, he has served in multi-specialty charitable hospitals and private practices in India, collaborating with some of the nation’s finest dental practitioners. For the past four years, he has successfully led our dental surgery unit in Anse aux Pins on Mahe Island.
To remain at the forefront of dental advancements, research, and treatment modalities, Dr. Ranjan actively participates in numerous continuing dental education programs conducted by prestigious dental colleges and esteemed practitioners worldwide.
His aspiration to provide quality dental treatment while upholding ethical standards has fuelled his eagerness to join our clinic where he has been challenging himself to strive for excellence in dentistry.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Ranjan is a certified Yoga instructor from India’s world-renowned Yoga ashram school. He conducts enlightening yoga workshops and programs for dental and medical colleagues, addressing work-related stress, anxiety, and physical issues due to incorrect postures.
In addition to his expertise in dentistry and yoga, Dr. Ranjan possesses excellent language skills. He is fluent in English and has a professional knowledge of German, along with basic (Creole) French.
Registered with both the Dental Council of India (DCI) and Seychelles Medical and Dental Council (SMDC), Dr. Ranjan possesses extensive expertise in planning, procurement, and establishing new Medical and Dental departments within large hospital or private clinic setups.
His impact extends to public speaking engagements on television and radio channels, where he addresses oral health challenges faced by paediatric and geriatric patients. Moreover, his contributions to informative oral health articles in Seychelles Newspapers have furthered awareness.
Recognized for his exceptional skills, Dr. Ranjan was honored as a top 100 Doctor by the Global Summit Institute (USA) in 2022. During his leisure time, he actively promotes oral health through our social media profile.
